It was a cold February in 2006 when Bonnie and Ben Benoit first visited the Valle de Guadalupe. It was love at first sight. Having spent over 35 years in the wine industry, primarily designing wine cellars and wineries and staging wine tastings, what better of a way to retire than to open a small winery in the heart of the “Napa” of Mexico.
With Vieux Telegraph and Chateau Beaucastle as our model we planted our vineyards with Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Counoise. Our first block of Grenache was planted in 2008, followed by Syrah and Mourvèdre in 2011, and finally the Counoise in 2012. Our Counoise is the only block in all of Mexico.
The First vintage was in 2011 and was released as Bx3. With the 2016 harvest we arrived at our goal of a blend of all four of our varietals allowing us to have our first “Estate” wine.
La Paloma is our Estate white wine. The blend is of Rhone varietals Viognier, Grenache Blanc and Roussanne.
With the 2023 Vintage we introduced “La Fleur”, our Rose of 100% Grenache made in the “Provencal” Style.
We are proud to say that our wines are considered some of the finest in the Valle de Guadalupe and are served at the finest restaurants.
We'd love to have you and your friends or loved ones for a relaxing wine tasting experience. Please make an appointment in advance so we are ready to greet you.
